Application of BGA test fixture
Currently, in small batch placement production lines, important main control IC chips are directly mounted on the PCBA for functional testing. Once an abnormality is found, it needs to be removed and repaired, which will cause damage to both the PCBA and the IC, especially CPU-type chips usually have a larger number of PINs and denser pin locations. The value of the chip is high, and it is easy to cause damage to the chip when it is disassembled and reattached. Therefore, the use of BGA test fixtures can avoid similar problems, as shown below: Build a test fixture on the PCBA, and you can perform functional tests without directly mounting it on the motherboard to directly verify whether the IC meets the requirements. Test After passing, it is mounted on PCBA, which greatly reduces the repair rate; it is also applicable to QC inspection and motherboard repair process.
