2. Chip characteristics: current 100mA, test power 0.5W, input withstand voltage 40V, with both output current limiting protection and over-temperature shutdown protection functions. This chip is used in automotive electronics, smart meters, instrumentation, and industrial control.

3. Requirements analysis: The output voltage of this chip is 4.0V, and the current limit is 300mA; the absolute maximum voltage is -0.3~45V, the output voltage is -0.3~0.3V, and the operating temperature is -40~85°C. The test is mainly a power supply test at 0.5W, 40V. The test environment is 125℃*1000 hours, and the reliability test is completed in the extreme environment. During the test process, the temperature acting on the chip body needs to be accurately controlled, so a copper block is added to the bottom of the chip to assist in heat conduction of the chip.
